Rosella grows well in tropical countries. One of them is Indonesia. Well no one expects it before, but actually it grows very very well in Belitung island's soil, in our own organic farm! As a matter of fact, surprisingly it grows bigger than normally in our organic farm if you compare it with normal Rosella in other farms, and maybe some of the reader will ask ”How could this happen?” The answer is simple, this rosella can grow so well and big is caused by the Belitung’s soil, which is quite sandy and rich of mineral.
Another secret, here in Arumdalu, we also used dried seaweed fertilizer from our own beach, which can help the rosella to grow even better. These nutrients on the soil make our rosella to have stronger juicy citrusy taste with a fresh berry-like note. So, don’t feel surprise if one day you visit Arumdalu and find out that there are a lot of Rosella planted around Arumdalu, we are just addicted to it! In Arumdalu we grow a mix of red and purplish red Rosella to get the best quality product.
